This weekend, SEVENTEEN and TXT lit up the stage, leading K-pop’s historic breakthrough at the most prominent music festivals in Latin America.

On April 4th, SEVENTEEN performed at Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, which is known as the largest music festival in Latin America.
Often compared to Coachella, this festival gathers 100,000 attendees daily.
Other artists in this year’s lineup include headliners Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake, and Green Day, along with Charli XCX, Massive Attack, Fall Out Boy, Kings of Leon, The Chainsmokers, Garbage, and more.

SEVENTEEN also made history last year by becoming the first K-pop artists to take the main stage at the UK’s Glastonbury Festival.
TXT is headlining AXE Ceremonia 2025, set to take place in Mexico City’s Parque Bicentenario on April 5 and 6, becoming the first K-pop artist to ever do so.

They are joining a star-studded lineup that also features Charli XCX, Tyler, the Creator, Massive Attack, Natanael Cano, and FKA Twigs as headliners.
Signs and posters can be seen all over Mexico welcoming TXT, building anticipation for their historic performance at the festival.

With their groundbreaking appearances, SEVENTEEN and TXT have solidified their place as global K-pop trailblazers, further expanding the genre’s reach across the world.
