K-Pop artists have been making waves and breaking records on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ ‘APT’ re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 10.

Not only does this mark its 13th non-consecutive week in the top 10 (and 23rd week on the chart in total), but APT has now broken the record set by PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ that was released in 2012 for the most weeks in the top 10 of any song by a K-pop soloist.
In the same week, BTS’s j-hope debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 65 with his latest single, ‘MONA LISA.’

This achievement means j-hope has now tied fellow BTS member Jungkook’s record for the most Hot 100 entries of any K-pop soloist in history.
