Robert Downey Jr. Is one of the most iconic actors when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Considering he started everything back in 2008 with the first Iron Man film, to look at where he is now, it’s an absolute amazing sight to see. He took to Instagram to post a picture of himself on the Avengers: Doomsday set while reading Jeremy Renner’s book “My Next Breath.” Captioned

- My Next Breath: The post is a nod to Renner’s tragic almost fatal accident that he had with the snow plow. RDJ is getting seemingly inspired by what Renner has been through ever since that dreadful day happened.
- A Nod To Doom: In the picture we also see Robert DJ. in a muscle shirt that would go underneath his full Dr. Doom costume. Obviously RDJ has gains but a little extra flash fluff never hurt any body on the big screens. You can also see on the outside of his trailer he has a picture of Doctor Doom stating “DO NOT KNOCK.. TRUST YOURSELF.” This is a funny play off of his character Victor Von Doom.

You can catch RDJ in his new and different villainous glory in Avengers: Doomsday with a release date set for May 1, 2026. Many fans are hyped for Downey’s return to the MCU but there are others who are wanting and waiting for a real fresh “reboot.” Well Marvel fans will get that after Secret Wars but for now we are excited to see RDJ our beloved Iron Man turn villain and join the darkness and spread it in the MCU.
