New 5-Minute Preview of The Fantastic Four: First Steps

New 5 Minute Video of Fantastic Four First Steps Released

Marvel Studios kicked off the buzz for The Fantastic Four: First Steps with a bang, debuting a thrilling 5-minute clip at the film’s world premiere in Los Angeles on July 21, 2025. This sneak peek, packed with action, nostalgia, and a few surprises, has fans hyped about Marvel’s First Family and their cinematic return. Directed by Matt Shakman, the film promises a vibrant, retro-futuristic take on the iconic superhero team, and the preview delivered a taste of what’s to come when it hits theaters on July 25, 2025.

  • Mr. Fantastic vs. Super-Ape Showdown: One of the clip’s standout moments features Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, using his elastic powers to scale a tower and face off against one of the Red Ghost’s Super-Apes. The ape lands a flying kick, but Reed’s stretchy abilities turn him into a human slingshot, sending the primate flying. Though John Malkovich’s Red Ghost was cut from the final film, the Super-Ape sequence is a fun nod to the comics’ weirder corners. His stretching looks really good
  • Each Members Powers Shown: The clip highlights each member of the Fantastic Four using their powers to protect New York. Vanessa Kirby’s Invisible Woman repairs a damaged metro structure with her force fields, assisted by Joseph Quinn’s fiery Human Torch who saved a girl with his flying. Meanwhile, Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s The Thing is seen carrying a massive boat to shore by the anchor.
  • Its Clobberin Time: We finally hear for the first time Things iconic catch phrase, but it is from a cartoon that he voiced over. They tease him once again saying it at the end but does not deliver it as it cuts away just before hand

Fans can literally see this movie tomorrow with early showings of the film as it releases on the 25th but can be seen a day earlier. From everything we have seen so far and now really seeing their powers in action, especially Johnny – how he absorbed al of that fire from the buildings, Mr. Fantastic – we have our best look yet at his stretching ability and it is done really well. Let us hope this movie is as Fantastic as the hype build up around this project.
