Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 just released its latest trailer, and it focuses around big tech company The Guild. Kicking off with real life ads centered around the advancement of technology with robots and using them as our defense so we won’t “Fear Tomorrow”. Set in a futuristic 2035, not everyone is happy about the shift from fighting people(in game), to now robots.
Final Thoughts
With this literally being a campaign add for The Guild with this Black Ops 7 trailer, Call of Duty really does capture the politics of the movement really well. However, I don’t think this type of warfare is something that the Call of Duty fanbase wants to be a part of and play. Coming from someone who stopped playing Black Ops 6 after a month, so everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We will see how it all turns out when Black Ops 7 releases.
