Kpop Demon Hunters continues to climb leaderboards, and in this case it’s the Netflix leaderboard. Racking in over 158 million views to beat The Adam Project, we could see them go even higher. It should be noted that the views from the “Top 10” most viewed Netflix orginal films only count 91 days after release. So other projects that have more views than them like Red Notice at the number 1 spot, will not grow in views, giving room for KPop demon Hunters to take over.
Why Is KPop Demon Hunters Continuing To Grow
- Multiple Banger Songs: Kpop Demon Hunters is not a “one hit wonder” when it comes to their soundtracks, yes Golden is the most popular song from the film. However, there are plenty of other songs that pull more than their weight in this film like Your Idol, Soda Pop, How It’s Done and more.
- The Visuals: The animation is “peak” so to speak, with many fans loving every aspect of it. Between the fight scenes and song sequences, the animation very much “pops” out of the screen while also being smooth without looking like the film has less frames than it should.
- The Story: Simple and clean, not overly complicated, yet still is able to pull at the heart strings through and through, with each of the girls(Huntrix) facing their challenges and overcoming them.
Final Thoughts
Given that KPop Demon Hunters released in June of this year, it still has plenty of time to climb the ranks and hopefully hit that number 1 spot of most watched original Netflix film of all time. We know that more projects are being talked about such as a trilogy, spin-off, and a live-action film. For now we wait and see just how far and long KPop Demon Hunters will slay.
