New Fantastic Four First Steps Trailer Shows Our Best Look At Galactus So Far

New Look At Galactus In New Trailer Fantastic Four: First Steps

Marvel Studios has once again set the stage for a monumental cinematic experience with the upcoming release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2025, this film promises to introduce Marvel’s First Family to a new generation of fans, blending their iconic powers with the everyday challenges of family life. Their latest trailer dropped today.

  • Retro-Futuristic Aesthetic: The trailer opens with a nod to the 1960s, capturing the essence of the era with its vibrant colors and futuristic technology. With it looking like a straight up sitcom from that era in some way with how they have the voice over and the transitions from scenes.
  • Action With Humor: We do not see too much action in this trailer, more towards the end. However, this was more of a lighthearted trailer with how it was edited. We see the Thing jump out of the Fantasticar and eventually meeting his “best friend”, or dog.
  • Family Dynamics: At the heart of the film is the balance between heroism and family bonds. The trailer emphasizes the personal stakes involved, particularly with the introduction of Galactus and Silver Surfer as formidable antagonists.
  • Star-Studded Cast: Led by Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, alongside Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, the cast brings a fresh yet respectful interpretation to these beloved characters. Where even those who loved the old cast from 2005, they can even hop on this ride in the Fantasticar to see these new actors fill these roles.
  • The Threat On Franklin: We have seen a part of one of the scenes they have showed with Franklin before, of an ever-looming shadow over Franklin at the Baxter Building. Now it has been confirmed that the shadow is Galactus and he is looking for Franklin.

Marvel keeps teasing and teasing with their glimpses of Galactus and not truly showing his full body. We haven’t even seen his eyes yet, only in promotional material. They know what they are doing(hopefully), they are waiting for the big reveal to be on the big screen, which many fans don’t have a problem with including me. For now we are all ready for when we will be done with teasers and have their real Thing before our eyes on July 25th.
