If you've seen Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' post credit scene, you probably knew this was coming. According to a recent report from insider Daniel RPK, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is getting a spinoff series on Disney Plus that will focus on the Ten Rings organization.
Spoilers ahead if you haven't seen the post credit scene of Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
In the post credits of Shang Chi, we saw that his sister, Xialing, had not dismantled the Ten Rings organization like Shang Chi thought she was doing. On the contrary, she had taken over the Ten Rings and is the new leader, replacing her father. Her father never let her be apart of the organization as a child, so now she is taking it for herself. The only question is: Will she do good? Or bad?
In the post credit scene we saw that Xialing also added female warriors to the Ten Rings organization. Her father had previously not allowed women into the organization but now with Xialing's rule, that all changes. And this could make the organization a lot more deadly. Only having a male army limits some covert operations in a wide variety of situations. And now that women will be apart of the Ten Rings army, they may be even more deadly than before.
Even if Xialing and the Ten Rings don't get a Disney Plus show of their own, Shang Chi's post credits made it very clear that Marvel has every intention on following up with what Xialing and the Ten Rings will be up to in the MCU. It's only a matter of time until the official project is revealed.
